Getting there
By plane
Valencia Airport located in Manises is situated only 8 kilometres west of the city of Valencia, the airport offers a quick connection to the city centre with shuttle services which takes 20 minutes; while the Underground network taking you to Valencia is just under 15 minutes.

By train
There are two main train stations within the city’s metropolitan area:
Local Train Station (Estación del Norte):
Valencia has its own city centre station for the local train network, which consists of six lines that connect Valencia to different towns in the Region.
Joaquín Sorolla Station for the Valencia High-Speed Train (AVE):
From the high-speed train station, the AVE trains connect the city to Madrid, Cuenca and Albacete, with 17 daily departures and an approximate journey time of 1 hour 30 minutes. In addition, the Alaris and Euromed long-distance trains connect Valencia with Spain’s main cities.

By car
The city of Valencia has a modern road network that makes it easily accessible from any city, both in the Spanish territory and further afield.
The Mediterráneo AP-7 motorway, which runs the whole length of the Spanish Mediterranean coastline from north to south, connects with the European motorway network, the A-23 Sagunto-Somport motorway and the A-3 Madrid-Valencia motorway.
Getting Around
By bus and metro
Getting around by metro is really easy: download the metro map or visit Metro Valencia, where you can look up the stops that will be most convenient for you, plan your journey in real time or check and download the timetable.
Valencia has a city and suburban bus network that reaches every corner of the city. Services to the suburbs are provided by a consortium of transport companies grouped together under the name of Metrobús. These services link the city with surrounding towns and villages.
